Melisande Neal is an expert in her chosen field of pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and parenting and founder of Kawartha Birth and Lactation. She is an experienced, certified birth educator, doula, infant massage instructor, Cranio Sacral Therapy practitioner (CST), La Leche League Leader and registered Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and past midwife apprentice.  She is also a pregnancy and infant loss counselor. Getting parents to their goals is her goal. She knows, first hand, about the ups and downs of birth and breastfeeding. Mel is the proud mother of 4 adults and 6 grandchildren.
