Amanda Moreton

My name is Amanda (she/her) and I am a certifying postpartum doula servicing Peterborough and surrounding areas. 

My work as a doula came about after my first child was born. The experience of postpartum recovery left me questioning, a lot, about what birthing individuals are told to expect.  I remember asking over and over again to my spouse, "Why doesn't anyone talk about this?!".  

Since then, I have made it my goal to support other parents as they transition from pregnancy to parenthood - specifically those first few weeks postpartum

Outside of my doula work, I spend my time outside going for walks and hikes, making cookies to eat the dough, reading, and watching guilty-pleasure level reality TV!
